The Art of Tray-Sliding

What is tray sliding?
Tray sliding is when you put a couple of plastic trays underneath the back tires of a front wheel drive car and drive around.

Why tray slide?
Good question with an easy answer: It is fun.

Ok, you got me. How do I do it?

  • Borrow some plastic trays from your local fast food restaurant.

  • Drive your front-wheel drive car to a SAFE location. i.e. No people nearby

  • Place the trays directly behind the back wheels of your car and back on to the trays.

  • When your tires are squarely on the trays, apply your parking brake.

  • Drive your car around while the back-end slides all over the place.

  • Enjoy.

Now that you know how it is done, see it in action:
